Sample Itinerary
Day One
Begin with BREAKFAST in the French Quarter.
PARADE PERFORMANCE in the French Quarter followed by a visit to the AUDUBON AQUARIUM OF THE AMERICAS.
After dinner in the French Quarter, take a GUIDED, WALKING GHOST TOUR of the French Quarter.
Day Two
Visit THE NATIONAL WWII MUSEUM. Dedicated in 2000 as The National D-Day Museum and now designated by Congress as the country's official World War II Museum, this remarkable attraction illuminates the American experience during the WWII era with moving personal stories, historic artifacts and powerful interactive displays.
GUIDED TOUR of Mardi Gras World. Learn about the history of Mardi Gras in New Orleans in the place where artists build and decorate over 500 floats each year. You’ll never get this close to the floats while they’re rolling in a parade!
Enjoy buffet-style dining and live jazz by the “Dukes of Dixieland” while cruising along the Mississippi River on the Steamboat Natchez, one of only two, true steam powered sternwheelers plying the Mississippi today. Ask about dockside performance options before the cruise.
Day Three
Attend a KIDS IN THE HALL. educational program. Students and chaperones will enjoy a live concert experience while learning about the history of New Orleans Jazz as taught by a master teaching artist of Preservation Hall.
Visit the NEW ORLEANS JAZZ MUSEUM before departing for home with Memories to Last a Lifetime!
